Q:
I'm a real estate agent and want to use Cellicast 1.0 to give custom, real-time "virtual tours." How do I setup my Virtual Cameras for this?
Yes - this is very simple! The following steps outline the procedure.
- In the Control Room, click on the Virtual Camera icon (under the title for your camera) and choose to create
the virtual camera.
- Follow the instructions outlined. These include: navigating to the new camera (in your Control Room), editing the
preferences for the new camera and change the description to something you want. Then, scroll to the bottom of the
Advanced section and set "Anonymous Control Room Views" to "yes." Make note of the URL displayed. Then, save your changes.
- Send the URL to your clients who you want to view your Cellicast. They can access the Control Room of the
virtual camera (only) without logging in.
- When you no longer have a need for the camera, delete the virtual camera (by going to the Control Room for
the virtual camera).
- If you create a new virtual camera, it will have the same camera number as the one you deleted, but previous
users will not be able to access any of the content. They will simply get an error message saying their session
is not active.
